SINGING LESSONS AT THE SING WITH EASE VOICE STUDIO

One to One Lessons at the Sing With Ease Voice Studio

Singing lessons will focus upon the conditioning and balance of the voice using specific exercises that are applicable to the individual and their specific vocal issues. By using the tools and exercises of Speech level Singing, I will NEVER avoid problem areas by scouting around hoping they will disappear, but instead choose to face them head on and address the issue. This means you can be certain that progress will be made.

Lesson time will also be spent on vocal coaching through repertoire, styling and performance techniques. The student is required to bring to class either backing tracks or lead sheets. Self-accompanying singers (eg guitarists/pianists) can use this skill during class. Whilst my piano skills are limited, I am willing to play along with students with a chord chart/lead sheet, but arrangements can be made to hire in an accompanist should this be required.

Music theory lessons for singers are also available, where you can learn how to read music, transpose, write lead sheets and any other skill you may feel necessary.

Every singing lesson is recorded onto CD so that you may practise and reflect upon the class at your leisure.

Group Performance Classes

Group performance classes are available now. These classes focus purely on performance, and gaining confidence in performing. They are aimed beginners and intermediate singers. The 2 hour session is in a workshop style with participants being encouraged to perform in front of the small group and gain constructive criticism from each other and top tips from Lisa! This is a great way to learn and a safe environment for singers to learn and grow with one another.

As a qualified Speech Level Singing instructor I am committed to continuous training as I am affiliated with the organisation. Every year I am expected to pass through a series of tasks in order to maintain my certification level. This should give all students peace of mind that they are receiving singing lessons from a teacher who is accountable to some of the world’s best voice teachers, including Seth Riggs himself.
